Not gay – delisted
Restaurant at the start of Silom Soi 4. They get mixed reviews.

Our reviewer went in and had a reasonable meal. However he noted the following:

The barkers in the street had instructions not to call in any overtly gay people. This was obvious from their actions and when directly asked (our reviewer speaker fluent Thai), they confirmed that they had been instructed so. They had been told not to get gay customers.

The owner was talking to three (straight?) ladies who were saying to him how nice it was to find a place in this area which wasn’t overrun by gay people. He was heartily agreeing with them.

He wanted a glass of red wine, and was told by a waiter it had run out. A few minutes later a glass was produced with a tiny amount in it and he was offered this. They said they had found some in the end of a bottle, apologised for it not being a full portion and asked if he wanted it for 100B. He declined. 15 minutes later or so a boy arrived carrying some bottles and he was again asked if he wanted any. By now it was all too late.

These three things were all first hand observed by our reviewer and as such we feel we can not recommend this place. It feels like a nice bar in the wrong location.
